Existing customers v new customers!

Had a social with neighbours on recently and up came the topic of business!

Interesting little story from a friend. When his insurance renewal came through, it had risen a lot and he was not happy.

He decided to look around for alternatives and having done so, he found one much cheaper. He went back to his current provider to inform them.

The person on the other end of the ‘phone asked who the other Company was and he told them it was actually them!

Great offering out there for new business but they had forgotten their existing clients.

So whilst we all understand the importance of getting new business you mustn’t do that to the detriment of your existing customers.

I don’t think they were left in any doubt about his opinion of them!

Customer loyalty must surely count for something!
